Monday Rx - January 29, 2018 January 29, 2018 membership, Monday RX 968 Countdown to the Saving Private Practice Consortium With just over 30 days to go before the Saving Private Practice Consortium, I would like to encourage all of you to join LACMA and your colleagues on Saturday, March 3rd at the LA Hotel Downtown for what will be an empowering day for all physicians. Last year, the first Consortium was held in response to feedback from a number of physicians in regards to declining reimbursements, increasing administrative burdens, marketing needs, time-consuming documentation and more. We convened over 15 partners and planned 6 sessions designed to address these issues and provide the resources needed to help physicians stay afloat in private practice. After last year's success, I had a goal to make the 2018 Consortium bigger and better. This year, you can look forward to more resources and more sessions to help solve some of your most pressing pain points in areas such as patient engagement, reimbursement assistance, marketing, documentation, wealth management, accounting and everything in between. This is a unique opportunity for doctors to connect and get one on one assistance from dedicated representatives who are experts in their respective fields. You will have the chance to make appointments throughout the day and also attend breakout sessions that will give you the tools you need to run a more efficient practice. New Conference Call Series While the Consortium is one day in time, our goal to connect physicians with needed resources will continue. In a new effort to better inform and continuously engage our physician community and deliver another opportunity for our corporate partners to connect with our membership and deliver value, we've created the first-ever LACMA Conference Call Series. The Series will be a "virtual 30-minute call in program" and feature a guest every Friday afternoon at 12:15 PST. The premise for the program is very straightforward: Marketed throughout the organization for the next 5 weeks and at the Saving Private Practice Consortium for a March 9, 2018 kick off; designed to inform and deliver value to our physician members. Physicians can call in, ask questions and talk to experts after the call as well. I will provide updates relative to phone coordinates, topics and schedule and as always, I welcome your feedback!
