Catch Dr. Emil Avanes At Saving Private Practice Consortium! February 23, 2018 Member Spotlight, Saving Private Practice Constortium 2251 Dr. Emil Avanes is a primary care physician at Harmony Health MD in his hometown of Glendale, California who completed an undergraduate degree at Duke University and studied at the Chicago Medical School. He completed his residency training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. After completing his training, Dr. Avanes sought out employment that would allow him to connect with patients in a meaningful way. Seeing few opportunities to achieve that goal in the complex world of modern medicine, he set out to create the ideal healthcare practice. After many hours of planning and designing, Harmony Health MD was born, fulfilling a promise to provide personalized care for all. Over the years, Dr. Avanes' passion for connecting with patients in a genuine, caring manner has continued to grow. He is proud to serve the men and women of Glendale and enrich the community by helping individuals achieve their optimal wellness. As an active member of the community, he is also a committee member of the Glendale Community College Health Advisory Board and Adventist Health Glendale's Medical Executive Committee. He is affiliated with local hospitals, including Adventist Health Glendale, Glendale Memorial Hospital, and Health Center, and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Dr. Avanes is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the President of LACMA's District 2.
