Charting the Course 2.0

This weekend we are holding our Executive Committee Retreat to discuss and collaborate on our 2020-2025 goals. LACMA is focused on improving member satisfaction and engagement, increasing brand awareness and value, boosting wellness for physicians and reducing burnout. We are excited to address these important topics that will shape the years to come.

Year-Round Resolution Calendar:
Reminder Deadline January 21, 2020

January 21, 2020, is the next deadline to submit resolutions. Any CMA member may author a resolution. Resolutions can only be introduced, however, by a delegate, alternate delegate, component medical society or delegation, CMA section or mode of practice forum, the CMA Board of Trustees, or a CMA-recognized specialty society. Members who are not delegates or alternate delegates should contact their county medical society for assistance in identifying an appropriate channel for getting their resolution introduced.

2019 CMA Year in Review

In the legislative, legal and regulatory arenas, the California Medical Association won key victories to improve public health, expand access to care, remove administrative burdens and ensure physicians are fairly compensated for the work they do. They will build on these victories in the new year to ensure California’s physicians have a strong voice in Sacramento and in Washington, D.C., and that they can transform our state’s health care system into a model for the entire nation.
