Happy Thanksgiving!

To all our members and the entire medical profession, for all that you do for your patients and the communities you impact, LACMA wishes you a joyous Thanksgiving!  Take the time to spend with friends and families and reflect on the joy you bring to medicine every day.

Colorado Springs Mass Shooting

Another mass shooting claimed the lives of five and wounded 25 after a gunman using a long rifle attacked the Club Q in Colorado Springs, CO. We grieve with the LGBQT+ community. We grieve for the victims and their families. LACMA has developed a partnership with the New York Attorney General’s office, the Brady United Foundation, and the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation to launch a first of its kind web site for physicians and first responders to access resources, information and news related to gun violence.

Click here to view the site before a public unveiling at the 2023 Burnout Symposium at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center. I hope you can join us at the Symposium as we will host a physician led panel discussion on gun violence sponsored by the Cooperative of American Physicians (CAP). To register and take advantage of early bird and LACMA discounts click here.
